ABP News — On December 23, 2011, “London ABP Masterplanning and Architecture Cooperation MOA Signing Ceremony was solemnly held in the Investment Center of ABP Beijing. The agreement was signed between ABP (China) Holdings Group and British Farrells Architect. According to the agreement, Farrells Architect is to provide consultancy and design plan for ABP London. The agreement was signed by Xu Weiping, Chairman of the Board of ABP (China) Holdings Group and Max Farrells, representative with Farrells Architect.
London ABP is competing for a land in Royal Ablert Dock of East London, the public bidding of which has been made by London Development Agency and Greater London Authority published in EU Communiqué. ABP (China) Holdings Group had handed in qualification materials for public bidding by the end of November, 2011 and passed the primary selection on December 15. A detailed PQQ is required.
In accordance with agreement, Farrells Architect is to provide ABP (China) Holdings Group a complete planning program and detailed district solution plan, including structure and civil engineering, transportation, environment, cost consulting and so on, which is one of the services provided by Farrells.
Mr. Max Farrells, arriving in Beijing on December 19, reached agreement on December 22 with ABP (China) Holdings Group after 3-day negotiation on some details.
On the ceremony, Chairman Xu Weiping said that he has been looking forward to cooperating with Farrells Architect in an all around way. Mr. Max Farrells said that Farrells started business in Hong kong, China 20 years ago and ABP (China) Holdings Group is the first mainland clients that has made overseas investment. Given the above-mentioned background, the cooperation between the two parties is to conduce to the global business expansion of both sides.
Attended the ceremony was Xu Ying, Vice chairman of ABP (China) Holdings Group, Meng Yuqin and Liang Qian, Board Executive Directors, Liu Shimin, Board Executive Director and Executive Deputy Chairman, Huang Mingchao, Li Aishe, Assistant to GM of Group Administration.
